Select the appropriate file according to the unit you’d like to work in: Sample – mm or Sample – inch
In the space “Model” you can find three magenta frames 1:50, 1: 100, 1: 200; Choose the most appropriate representation scale depending on the size of the plant. For example, if your are doing a restyling project of a living room use the box 1:50. If it is a large plant, like a big house, use the box 1: 200.
The file already has a set of layers for the allocation of the line weight. Copy the plant provided by the customer in your DWG files and draw in the selected box, using the appropriate layers:
- Wall: for selected walls
- Elevation: for prospecting lines
- Door: for all the doors
- Glazing: for windows
- Projection: for projection lines
- Notes: for notes and quotes
- Window: layer no plot for all the elements which must not be printed
Your plant will be displayed on the computer screen. That’s why these boxes are designed in a 16:9 ratio, and in a horizontal orientation. This way plant can be viewed in full screen, with no side bands that will force the customer to enlarge the image, which could result in not having a clear overview.
Download the CTB Cocontest.Plan, then copy and paste the CTB in the print styles tool as shown in the following images.
Once the project is complete, print the PDF from the Floor Plan that corresponds to the panel you have chosen: 1:50 Floor Plan, Floor Plan 1:100, 1:200 Floor Plan
Press Ctrl + P to print and select the print settings as shown in the figure.
Click on Windows to select the print window, then select the magenta check box .
After the confirmation, it will open a window to save the file.
